“very good steak!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

Nice atmosphere and building inside, nice terrace outside. The rib-eye steak with potatoes (and pepper sauce) was very good. Service efficient and kind. Beer was good, if a bit warm. Overall, a nice dinner.

“Best Steaks and Schnitzel in the town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2014

One of the best places to eat in Wiesbaden - perfect food, friedliy stuff, always in the visitors interested owners, different beers and if You like potato-chips or real german "Bratkartoffeln" (fried potatoes) - Your are right in the Wikinger!
The inside furniture is interesting, "wikingerlike", and in the cold season a big fireside in the middle of the room.
I go there with my wife, with the whole family and friends, but also in business.
The restaurant lies in the middle of the town, just opposite to the government-hall - interesting views.

“Good Eats!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2013

Good place to eat outside when the weather permits. Food is fairly quick and the staff is friendly. Food is delicious - meat and potatoes type. There are also some good veggie dishes as well.

“Dinner in a traditional German Setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 18, 2013

Had dinner here with friends after work on two occasions. Mainly meat on the menu, including steak, lamb, pork and turkey.

The mixed meat skewer is very good with beef, lamb and pork all cooked to perfection and served with some of the best fried potatoes I have had in Germany. The steak you cook yourself on a hot stone is also very nice, with a good selection of sauces.

The interior of this restaurant is also very nice, gives a traditional German feel over two floor, with a large fire and chimney as the centre piece. This place is always full, with locals which I guess must be a good sign.

“Good for Vegetarians”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

After a rainy morning walking around Wiesbaden, we wanted something to eat and ended up on the street with this restaurant. Before we settled, we checked all the places nearby on the next few streets and, unless you're ok with eggs and green sauce (and coming from Frankfurt, we're quite sick of that) there wasn't anything on offer at all. Webers Wikinger had 3 vegetarian options, with at least one more on the special seasonal menu.

I had the vegetarian fajitas which was the best mexican food I've had in Germany (after visiting a few specialist mexican places in Frankfurt). My boyfriend had the gratin which was pretty unimpressive, with just some grated potatoes at the bottom with broccoli and other veg and cheese on top.

The staff weren't overly warm, but they did reply in German to my own German, which I always appreciate. Judging from the menu, it wasn't just a typical German place, more like a German equivalent of a British gastro pub.
