The restaurant looked cute, so we decided to have dinner there. We had to wait a very long time for our meals.
The food was very poor,The wildpfanne Hubertus e.g did'nt have any deermeat in it but beef.
After complaints the waiter answered that the kitchen was not his business.
The schnitzel and the french fries were fat and dirty
I was charged 3,10 for a glass of water.
So, my advise is:don't go there.

The hotel was really nice and cute, with very helpful and friendly personel. Great breakfast, very modern and clean room and over all good hotel for quite good money.

The room we paid superior price for was very small and weird planned, not cosy at all. All the other superior rooms we looked at in the corridor was really large and nice, but this wasnt.
The free internet was only free after mentioning it to the staff.
The free parking was only free for a couple of hours durign the middle of the night, otherwise 5€ / begun day.

Now to the most interersting part!
In the middle of the night, very strange and weird sounds appeared in the walls and floor. Some pounding and knockings of some strange caracter. This among other strange things made an interesting and spooky atmosphere. Not bad at all, it was nice and cosy, but things were strange.

I would recommend this hotel and room no 35 if you want an adventure and spooky things happening...

This is a very pretty hotel in the traditional German style. It is located in the heart of the old town - 1 min to the Droggelgrasse, about 10 mins walk to the train station and about 3 minutes to the cruise boat. Previous TA reviews frequently mentioned small rooms, which led me to thinking that the double beds would probably be the standard matchbox size that my husband and I simply cannot sleep in. A telephone call to the agent confirmed this and I requested two single beds. Our room was rectangular shaped with the 2 beds up against the wall end to end. Not ideal. The dark burgundy coloured toweling sheets seemed a bit odd but no big deal. Word of warning - if you're two mates sharing, the bathroom door is all frosted glass. This means you can see the outline of everything that anyone is doing in the bathroom. Breakfast was the usual fare of cereal, fruit, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, tea coffee etc and no complaints there. I suppose my only niggle is that we paid £207 for two nights stay and in my opinion this is simply not a £100 a night hotel. I would rate it more as a £60 a night hotel. Having said that, it was a major tourist resort and it was peak holiday season so doubtless they whacked the price up during the period, but even so I felt it was too expensive for what you got..

We loved our little room. The pictures for the hotel make the rooms look huge, but our room was pretty small. We had a hard time sleeping because it was so hot in our room and loud outside. Other than that, we loved our stay. The room reminded me more of a home than a hotel, which I really liked. Breakfast was good. Service, well, when we could find someone they were adequate. Rudesheim was a cute little town and we would definitely come back to stay.

Booked a double room for 3 nights, but was put into a tiny and very claustrophobic single room with an extra narrow bed squeezed into it. The bathroom was tiny (had to sit sideways on the loo) and one of us had to leave or stay in bed when the other was moving around the room. We changed rooms the second day when more became available. There is no parking and you have to park in the town car park 100m away, costing Euro 6 per day. Hotel is clean, the breakfast was good, but evening meals seemed pricey compared to the rest of town. Location is very good, away from the noise of the main streets, but close enough to be there in 5 mins. In sum, a smart, efficient hotel, good location, but check the room size when you book. There are better deals for the same price.

Okay rooms, although our bathroom was really small.

Good location in the town, along the wine fields and the old town wall. A short walk away from the tourist street Drosselgasse.

There was a nice restaurant in the hotel, right outside our door. The food and wine was good.

If you're fed up by German television, there were satellite television in the room, as well as WI-Fi (6 EUR for 1 hour, 18 EUR for 24 hours).
