We spent 4 days at the hotel in Dec.11 and were fully satisfied with the hotel. Rich and tasty breakfast, large rooms. The hotel is in walking distance to the railway station and to the inner town, so it's easy to get to where you want.

This is a perfect example for a standard German hotel: nothing exceptional, nothing really bad. It is placed in walking distance to the inner city, can be easily reached by car (and they have a garage) and the breakfast is good. I short, it is just a hotel. If you want to sleep and shower it is perfect, if your on a honeymoon you better do not stay there.

The hotel is strategically located in the heart of alovely town. Service is good and food even better. We were completely surprised by the paella served by their restaurant, so much better that the one we ate at the Plaza Real in Madrid a couple of weeks back. The hotel had 2 wings, the older one and the new. Unfortunately, I stayed in the older wing which had dated feel. The newer wing had much of a better and bigger layout. Parking was a bit of a hassle esp for travellers with kids as it is a short walk away from the building. Overall, our stay was good.

unless you want to walk endlessly to the nearest free public parking you will have to find the hotel's garage, then find the reception taking the garage elevator 3 floors up , following a sequence of hallways, taking another elevator to the ground floor where the friendly and helpful receptionist will advise you how to get most of the way back to your room (obviously the process is less difficult on departure as by then you will be familiar with the premises.
Our spacious but very unromantic room held two comfortable bunk-beds, a standard bathroom and a sitting area with enough room to check your mail or to work on a manuscript etc...
Breakfast is rich and plenty, service is friendly and quick.
If you are single, on a business trip this is the place you would need; if you are looking forward to a romantic weekend experience with your friend/partner this is not exactly what you may expect to find. Honeymoon-suites look different...

Nice, spacious, clean rooms, very close to the train station and the lovely city center, friendly staff and a great breakfast. We loved this hotel-we even had a balcony! The only drawback was no free Wifi, you have to pay for it. But otherwise, very nice place to stay.

The location was very good for us, close to the station and anyway at walking distance from the city center. We chose one economy room, but I must say it was much better than expected. Nice, clean, with all the things you might need.
I appreciated the free tea in the hall, free internet access in the computer in the hall, the presence of irons and iron boards, the supermarket close to the hotel and the very rich and good breakfast: plenty of choice of good quality food.

Really enjoyed our stay here, great room, great service, very prompt responses to my emails before we arrived. Lovely breakfast and a great idea to put the day's weather plus some suggestions of things to do - very nice touch. Great idea to have tea & hot water available in reception. Overall, couldn't fault this hotel.
