We had a very nice weekend at the Penta Hotel in Kassel. The train station is very close but you don't hear it. The tram next door brings you everywhere. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Parking is not cheap.

Employees lack the ability to communicate with guests from other countries. They don’t explain things well and the service in the restaurant was very slow. 2 hrs to get food with a reservation and not all came out at once. Waited another 30 min for a forgotten meal

Hotel is close to the train station and a manageable walk to the gardens/royal mansion/castle.The breakfast was outstanding, and the dinner was quite alright, and fairly priced. The room was clean and well equipped with toiletries. Maybe some improvement on toilet paper quality.I gave sleep quality as very good but an average but compared to many European hotel mattresses it is better than most.

Unfortunately I have the need to spend a few minutes expressing my complaint towards the Pentahotel service. The place is correct, new and clean facilities, acceptable breakfast and in general the correct attention, except for the reception, which unfortunately made our stay not pleasant at all. I refer to the employee who was at the reception in the morning, when we arrived there was a problem with our reservation, oblivious to us, due to a lack of communication between the agency and the hotel, and the treatment of this employee was very very unpleasant, we had to be 3 hours in reception, with my 3 small children very tired after a long trip without this man gave us any explanation of what was happening, to have information I had to call my agent 10 times in Spain, despite that the hotel employee was receiving emails about the reservation (which was made from the previous day), and did not inform us of anything. When we were finally able to check in his treatment did not improve, it was especially unpleasant when he addressed the children and he certainly was not helpful to us. I do not usually make comments of this kind except when they make me feel really bad, as was the case of this employee with us: IT MADE OUR STAY IN THE HOTEL WAS VERY VERY LITTLE COZY. Regarding the rest of the staff, everything is correct

Never advice anyone to just visit the Hotel. Not to stay on it. Expensive price for very bad quality. Summer cacation and no aircondition. Or any supplement to use as alternatives. Expensive Garage and also the Location not thats the best
