The changed the owner , or the chef
Or both...
The food doesn't taste the same , the desert was just canned fruit.
And the restaurant was almost empty.
That's a real pity because it was really nice before.

The place was almost empty and we hesitated before going in. It doesn't look so nice inside so we weren't expecting much but the food was really excellent. We were really surprised. Definitely recommended!

This restaurant has a really good lunch all-you-can-eat buffet which includes a few kinds of chicken dishes and also 3 veg dishes , rice and dessert.
this place is highly recommended and the price is also very good.

Located on Kaiserstrasse which is the road just in front of Frankfurt Main bahnoff when you exit on the city side. My wife and I walked into the Maharaja even though there weren't too many patrons there despite peak lunch time. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Pindi Channa. All dishes are served with rice which is complimentary.

The taste was outstanding not only for me (I'd been out of India for 3 months so anything went) but also for my wife who had come visiting and is also a foodie like me. It's a must try restaurant run by an Indian (surprise surprise) and a German from Offenburg (just outside the black forest). It's closed on Sunday though which is a shame.

Even the bhuna gosht and butter chicken are one of the best that you can eat in Germany. There are a bunch of other super hyped indian joints on Kaiserstrasse itself (and Ziel) but this one beats them all hands down.
