The restaurant is very close to the fair ground, making it a perfect dinner place when your day at the fair is finished, for business meetings, as well as for a date. The athmosphere is tranquil and middle class refined. The food severed is Italian and the speials they have are geared towards a more gourmet taste. I had a fetuccini with truffels from that selection and it was so tasty, I would have wished for seconds if I had not been already stuffed with the portion I received. The wine recommended by the waiter, Dino, was great as well. Dino was a treat in himself, very attentive and going even so far as to changing the language when he realized that he could speak my mother tongue.
A Peruvian Taxi driver, who past the restaurant the next day, told me that Maradonna had eaten at that restaurant when he visited Frankfurt and that there was his picture and signature somewhere in the restaurant, though my former class mate, who met me there for a meeting 20 years after we had seen each other the last time and talked for ages about his youthfull football/soccer playing deemed it necessary to impart that type of knowledge, which only made me realize that indeed this was a great place where familus and not famous people are treated with discreet and good attention.
