This museum head most of its explanation in German. I don’t read German. They had dinosaur bones stuffed animals stuffed birds, insects - lots and lots of them. Good for children. A small collection of human #kulls tried to trace the evolution of man. If you speak German, the rating goes up to 5/5

this place is the best. They have an extensive collection along with informative displays. The day we were there we encountered many school groups touring and they were well behaved.

We went there because we love natural sciences and we read that it is the 3rd natural history museum of the Germany. It is really beautiful because it has a lot of fossils and animals and you could look into every species of the world.

Visited on a Sunday during a busy family event day. Some of the exhibits were impressive, but the place felt dated and few signs are translated to English. But it was free and let us kill some time until the nearby restaurant opened.

Interesting, located in a nice area not far from the central station, although not the best for my personal taste to be honest. But if you're visiting Frankfurt with your kids make some time & take them to this museum, I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

This is an excellent museum, the specimens on display are world class. The
display on Messel pit was very interesting and had sufficient English translation and English video to make it a great experience. As other reviewers have said more English translations are needed if this is to appeal to all international visitors, I struggled with some of the Germany only explanations as there is much technical language. Cafe and open air seating is excellent.

Over 10000 exhibits in this museum, featuring Dinosaurs, fishes, fossils, elephants, snakes, mammals, reptiles and more. This is a very popular museum for students and adults. There are a lot of hands on exhibits to make it more interesting.

The actual displays are pretty good although there's no english explanation! Or wifi so that I could google translate it myself.
Now i understand that I'm visiting a country that doesn't speek english, but I figured it's the international tourist language. If you're not english-friendly, don't advertise in english at all.
