“Back again, great service”
Reviewed July 31, 2013 via mobile

Back after three years and I have to say the service was very friendly and a nice breakfast and lunch. Rooms are comfortable and this time a nice view. Glad we stopped in again and this time with another couple after a trip on the romantic Rhein. Great for business or leisure.

Stayed July 2013, traveled as a couple

This hotel has a great location on the edge of town, but you can easily walk to the center and to many restaurants. Parking charge is a bit steep but it is Valet. The indoor swimming pool is apparently the largest in Frankfurt, so great for lane swimming

Room Tip: Higher up, better the view

This hotel is in the perfect location for a couple of days walking the old city. It sits just at the edge near the Opera House and is within two minutes of the beginning of the walking street. The room was great and the service even better. One of the best breakfast buffets I have enjoyed and everything that you need or want is provided by the attentive staff.

Room Tip: Get a room that overlooks the old city and is above the other buildings

This hotel is once well located and only a few hundred meter walk from the nearest railway station, I found I could just about walk everywhere I wanted to go! Check in was a bit frosty but check out was very efficient and friendly. An excellent buffet breakfast! The room was very aesthetically pleasing as was the bathroom. The bathroom amenities and towels are great to. The room was very noisy in the early morning due to construction nearby. Television channels are spoilt for choice! This hotel is really very nice and I only experienced a slight glitch with my stay regarding hot water on the night I was leaving.

The value rating I have given here is based on the price I paid from getaroom. Hilton itself was about $100 per night more expensive!

My gripe about this stay was I got an excellent deal from getaroom.com and as a Honours member I tried to take Hilton up on their price guarantee. I spent more than an hour with their gust services as well as email correspondence and could not get them to live up to their guarantee. Even tried this at check in and failed so my stay will not be rewarded. Very disappointing Hilton!!!!!

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the park side, it will be quieter than the room I booked on the road.

Just finished my stay here and must say I was impressed with the location and wonderful backdrop of this hotel, it backs onto a wonderful park area which is very easy on the eye and great for an evening stroll. The rooms are large and very well presented as is the bathroom, secure parking available for ( i think/forgot exactly ) $30 euros per night, internet lounge and bars ect located on the ground floor. As a guest you can use the fitness first gym which also contains an indoor 25 meter pool on the 1st floor. Wifi however is extra and this is certianly a sore point for any traveller these days staying in a 5 star hotel it should be free! ( Hilton please note )
The hotel is located about a 7-10 minute stroll to the old city and located at the start of the major shopping strip in Frankfurt, its about 18klm's from the airport. I did not eat here for dinner or breakfast but Im sure it would not let you down, they have a nice alfresco area facing the park at the rear of the building which we enjoyed a few drinks at. This is a hotel which while in Frankfurt exudes a sort of American air which I'm sure appeals to American travellers, however if your wanting a more traditional German feel you may want to stay somewhere else, that being said its a great place to spend time at if your on business or pleasure.

All of the staff were really on their game providing friendly excellent service. The lounge was well stocked and my room was immaculate, large and comfortable. The fitness room is huge and very well equipped. It was an easy walk to many restaurants and sights. This Hilton is in my top ten.

This property is nicely located in downtown Frankfurt and is in short walking distance to the "Alt Stadt", or old town of Frankfurt.

Upon entering the hotel you will likely feel you are in an Embassy Suites property as it has an open atrium design with a three elevator bank to the guest floors. It has been recently renovated to the existing sleek, marble and straight line furniture. While it is not representative of "Deutchland", it is a perfect corporate location which will make you feel right at home, no matter where you are from. The staff was extremely friendly and though I speak German, it was not essential as all staff, inclusive of housekeeping, spoke English. It seemed to me the majority of staff were from Eastern Europe.

The rooms are also ulta sleep and modern and what I liked most was the work space/desk that was provided. The colors are quite muted in tans and browns and allow for a very comfortable stay, coupled with a fantastic bed and soft goods.

I did not try the restaurant but we did meet in the lobby lounge on a few occasions and we found it to be quite nice and comfortable. The bartender(s) was extremely friendly and assisted in suggesting some "apfel wine", which was quite good.

The bonus was the park behind the hotel to walk throughout for relaxation, or to run through for exercise as my wife did each morning. I would say this is one of the better Hilton Hotels I've stayed in recently and also believe this location would likely meet all of the expectations any traveler would have, if not exceed them.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor room
