There was some huge convention going on while we were in Frankfurt, so we ended up at this place because it was the only hotel in town that had an available room! Because of this, we braced for the worst, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable stay. The room was simple, but very clean, quiet and comfy. Lovely breakfast room downstairs, where we had a basic, but quality breakfast every morning. Public transport is almost right outside the front door, but we never needed it because the walk into town is short.

What makes this place stand out though is the staff. They were so funny, friendly and helpful. They even put on a pot of tea for us at 4:00am so we could have a hot drink before we went back to the airport! They really helped us to feel comfortable in a country we'd never visited before. We'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 nights, on the plus side its well placed for the centre of frankfurt being just a short walk through the park, very helpful staff and the rooms (although a little dated) are clean.main negatives was the heating which they were unable to fix which was exacerbated by an ill fitting window, we received a portable heater which in fairness made the situation acceptable. breakfast is a basic cold meats, cheese, bread, yogurts etc

The best thing about this hotel is it's kocation. It is in walking distance form the busy down-town shopping area. Actually the walk is very nice because it leads through one of the parks of the inner city circle.
This hotel is a good choice:
- If you are looking for a very affordable place - book it through HRS or other internet site.
- If you only want to stay a few nights.
- If you don't expect a super deluxe breakfast buffet, gym or pool.
- If you can manage to be without air condition.
- If you come by public transportation as the U5 metro stops right there.
- If you consider that the hotel is in a residential area. There is limited parking space in the streets around the hotel but most of them require a resident's permission (except in the weekends).

Room Tip: Book via HRS-dot-COM

I stayed at Hotel Aria for 2 nights after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. I was not disappointed. The hotel is in a wonderful spot. Literally steps from the U5 train stop of Musterschue and easy walking to the city center with shopping, eating and the Christmas market. The rooms are very basic, very European. Don't stay here if you are looking for the luxury of the Westin. But what you do get is a clean, comfortable room. There is a TV if you want to watch something. The bed was comfortable. The room was a little cold, but not bad, I just like to be warm and toasty. The two men who worked the front desk were very friendly and spoke English. The night man especially was very friendly. My room was a little loud as the window faced the street where the train was. I used ear plugs and had no problem. Ask for a room on the other side if you can.
The only problem I had here was a language misunderstanding. I booked my room through hotels.com. On the booking it showed the price and then it said no breakfast, but all the hotels I looked at said that so I thought nothing of it. When I was at the hotel there was a sheet in the room that said 'Complimentary Breakfast Buffet." I took that to mean that it was a free breakfast. Not so. When I went to check out I had been charged 8 euros for a breakfast I thought was free and not worth 8 Euros. I tried to explain that the paper said breakfast was complimentary but they staff pointed out that my booking sheet said 'no breakfast' so there was some confusion. I ended up having to pay the 8 euros. Just be aware and ask before doing or using anything. They do have internet for: 1 hour=3 Euros, 4 hours=6 Euros. And you don't have to use it all at once. So over all Hotel Aria is a great place to stay just bring your ear plugs and don't expect anything to be 'complimentary.'

We have stayed at this guest house a number of times and always find it to be good value for money. The location on the Eckenheimer Landstrasse is great to walk almost anywhere in Frankfurt. The Musterschule tram stop is right outside if you want to travel further. The sound of the trams may disturb some people if you have a room at the front of the building but you get used to it. The rooms are large and well maintained. Service is very good and breakfast has ample choice of cereals, bread, meats, cheeses etc. Generally you can never really go wrong with this kind of hotel in Germany. Aria is no exception.

A few minutes from the city centre: the hotel is just behind the bus stop. The staff is very kind and rooms are simple and clean. The continental breakfast is fairly rich. For those who love starting a new day with in a sweet way, the breakfast unfortunately lacks in croissant, cakes and other appetizing stuffs.
The hotel is particularly recommended for those who want to spend few days in Frankfurt without spending a lot of money.
