“Good hotel, easy to find.”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

This was spot on for our needs, although I must stress we were on a stag do...

The hotel is priced well, easy to find from the train station and pretty much puts you right in the action. For these reasons I can't knock it.

The hotel itself is clean, has a free minibar which was kept stocked while we were there with two beers, water and soft drinks. There's free coffee, fruit and cake in the lobby all day and the breakfast is far from the worst I've had in a hotel. Free wifi and helpful, friendly staff top off the good points.

There is just one, niggling thing, but this is a problem with Germany not just the hotel. It's pretty much one of the last places in Europe (if not the world) where smoking is permitted indoors so, as a result, our room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke. I appreciate that this is enough to put a lot of people off so be warned. I'm not even sure if the non-smoking rooms are any better...

Room Tip: See if there's any non-smoking rooms. The rooms higher up are bigger and brighter but the trade...

We have stayed here over the years because of the location, service, value for money, generous breakfast, location to our favorite restaurant. Because of Tripadvisor helping make this a popular destination sometimes its difficult to get a room. We fly standby so cannot book ahead. I have stayed in other nearby hotel but this remains a favorite. As as been mentioned there is free wifi and also a business center is one doesn't have a personal computer with them. The train station is directly across the road where one can get a "braut" or other german sandwiches after flying in all night. A taxi stand is directly outside the door which is convienent for access to the airport for a fare around 26 euros.

We had booked 3 rooms at short notice via the internet , and for Euro 60,- is was amazing value for money ..included were free wifi, free minibar, and breakfast.
Three cheers for Tina, the receptionist ..she was totally professional and courteous ..it was an amazingly efficient check-in; with the number of hotel guests changing every day ..to be so friendly and courteous ..is an art - thank you Tina.

The rooms are a little old fashioned, only 1 power point in the middle of a wall to charge your phone. The TV has a wide variety of multi-lingual channels, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and had basic amenities. The mini bar, no charge , was well stocked with 2 bottles of beer and plenty of soft drinks.

The breakfast spread was impressive ..continental and American breakfast choices, as well Asian choices !

Located right opposite the main train station, the hotel obviously attracts are wide variety of hotel guests , and some of them bring their bad manners to the hotel. Shouting and screaming in mostly East European, central Asian and Asian languages make it difficult to sleep and also wake you early .so bring along ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

We stayed here for a weekend while visiting the Christmas market in November. The location is excellent - right beside the main train station and within walking distance of the main shopping areas ansd the Christmas market. Also across the road from a great Irish Bar! The breakfast is really good and there is plenty of variety - something to suit everyone. The rooms are not luxurious but have everything you need and are very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I left a set of keys in the drawer in my room and they were so kind as to post them after I had left and didn't charge me. Overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend stay.

If you are expecting The Ritz, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a moderately priced, convenient hotel with excellent facilities, this is the only place to be. Usually we just fly through Frankfurt but this time we decided to take a stop over. The location of this hotel is excellent as it is directly opposite the main train station and is only a 15 min walk into the city centre. We arrived early after a long flight from Bangalore and the staff went out of their way to have a room ready for us immediately. Yes, it is true the rooms are small and so are the bathrooms, but so what - how much space do you need? The hotel offers an excellent buffet breakfast, free wifi, a free mini bar and coffee, tea and cake are available in the lobby all day. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our family and friends. We are a couple of friends in our late 60's and mid 70's and have travelled a lot, so know our hotels. This was a hit with us.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room, which we got. Noise was never a problem. As I have a mild handicap we req...

Located few steps from the main railway station, large varieties of restaurants located near the hotel, the shopping areas 10-15 minutes walking from the hotel, the breakfast buffet is excellent also there's 24 hours refreshments (coffee, tea, bakeries & soft drinks) in the main lobby. The Rooms are spacious but little bit old and the bathroom needs some renovation.
