“Good location and price but average in everything else.”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

I stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a layover in Frankfurt. The hotel is convenient located close the Frankfurt Hbf, what makes easy to travel from and to the airport.
The neighborhood right next the hotel is not great but I felt safe and few minutes from several restaurants, shopping streets, etc. Also the European Central Bank is less than 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
The room I stayed was big enough, with a large bed and a nice balcony. Room decoration seems brand new, with "happy colors" and everything looked very clean.
Great shower with lots of hot water but be aware that the you probably will find the lavatory area flooded due the fact the shower has no door. Toiletries were not good. Only a shower gel to hair and body. Do the job but would be nice a soap bar and shampoo in separate ways. Just a personal preference.

But after more than 10 hours flight, when I arrived at the hotel about 10:30 AM, the receptionist not even bothered in check if there was a room available. Just said "too soon for check in, come back at 2:00 PM". I was really not expecting the early check in but would be nice if they at least checked if something was available. But that is Accor Hotels all around the globe. At least I was able to leave my luggage there while I waited, wondering by the city.

The hotel is made by two separated buildings put together to become what it is today. There is the "right side" and the "left side". My room was on the right side. From this side you have climb about 15 steps to reach the elevator then another 10 steps from the elevator to reach my floor. Not a problem to me but be aware if you have disabilities or traveling with elderly people. Ask for a room on the left side, where you can get the elevator without any steps. See the pictures and you have an idea.

I know this is a matter of preference but I had some trouble sleeping. The mattress was too stiff! I felt like sleeping on a cardboard in the floor. Also the room, although very quiet, was too bright because the blinds almost not covered the entire door that lead to the balcony.

My rate included internet connection and breakfast.
Regarding internet connection, only one device is allowed. This is kind an outdated concept since these days most of travelers carry at least a smartphone and a tablet. But at least the internet was reliable and fast.
The breakfast was good, with the expected from a hotel in this category.

I may recommend this hotel to a friend looking to stay in budget.

Room Tip: Besides the steps to reach the room, the one I stayed, with the balcony was very nice touch. A place...

I stayed here for one night (just passing through Frankfurt) and found that it was perfectly acceptable. Front desk was friendly and helpful, wifi was free (although sometimes the login stopped working), and I had a good nights sleep. The interior design is a bit strange. For example, the breakfast room had some very loud and bright colours! Nonetheless, the food quality was good. I arrived at night and my room appeared to have a balcony, so I opened the door for fresh air. However, in the morning light I realised that it was actually a fire escape... so be aware of your security if you leave the door open. Also... a very strange thing happened in the morning: the cleaning lady lied to me and told me that checkout time was 11:30 instead of 12:00! I mentioned this to the front desk clerk later and he was surprised and then he apologised. So, be sure that you are not rushed out of your room by eager cleaning ladies!

Really close to central train station, the guys were really really nice (giving us the single room rate because the double was two separate beds...even when we just walked in at 7pm with no reservation), stylish room, THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER.

If you have two devices (iPhone + iPad), the WiFi will work in just one of them (the first you register).

Definitely recommended, we will come back for sure. BTW, if you have +4 hours wait in FRAport, go check the city, it's a super worthy 15min/4€ ride!!!
