Neighborhood: Innenstadt
Description: Stylish and exuberant, Zarges take on the classic bistro features a lively front room dressed in red, accented with eye-popping paintings; or some more sedate yet equally attractive salons for private dining. Thick velvets, and a refined service team exhibit the chef's signature polish as does the contemporary French-Mediterranean menu that satisfies the establishment's dapper patrons. Items such as Foie Gras and Filet Mignon with oxtail ragout reflect today's sensibilities... The Chefs irreverent spin on the humble cheeseburger has become a modern-day classic. The interior is decorated in Jacques Garcia style with tasteful fabrics and comfy couches, Oriental rugs, lamps inspired by the Baroque era and a long mahogany bar; but somehow Zarges is not at all self-consciously trendy so much as it is warmly welcoming.Salons from 4 to 150 people for private events are available. There is also smoker’s lounge available.

A good restaurant in the centre of Frankfurt just off the main shopping area and the financial district.

The food is of high standard the ambience opulent the wine list extensive but expensive.

The service varies. The waitress without interest, the sommelier excellent.

An expensive option if you want to escape the typical german food of sausage or schnitzel and sauerkraut and beer.

I was sitting in the restaurant in business dress for 20 minutes and I did not get any service or request.
Then I went away.
Just terrible!!!

Great location and has the potential to be a great restaurant.

Unfortunately the service is shocking - arrogant and slow!

I would suggest trying somewhere else

I had brunch at Zarges this morning. The food was delicious and a quite different from the usual restaurant fare. The service was exceptional, probably the best in Frankfurt. I would love to go back!

We had the private room for our group dining. The decor and ambiance were red hues, very warm and inviting. The waiters were extremely attentive and made every guest feel welcomed. We chose the ravioli and John Dory as entrees--and were very impressed with the quality and presentation.
If you want a romantic evening or to impress your business clients--choose this restaurant!
