Okay, so it's in a hotel, but really, if you want to avoid the baskets of bread rolls and eggs in a glass, this is the place to be. 50 Euros each, also a little pricey, but that included Kir and canapes to start, wine, water, coffee afterwards and it was a great and interesting spread. Small sampler bowls of antipasti such as large pacific prawn in ginger and chilli, salmon with black sesame and mango and a large spread of parma ham with melon and artichoke. Went back twice for the antipasti with different things, followed with the hot buffet including teriyaki duck, skewered prawns, milk pig fillet in orange and taragon and others. Didn't even get as far as the carvery. Then there's a full spread of deserts. The staff are hugely attentive and friendly. If there was a complaint, it was that for me, the potatos lyonaisse were too salty, but then you get that, particularly in Germany. Large panoramic windows over the park and the high ceiling also make this very pleasant. The terrace would have been nice, but it was raining.
