We lived in Germany for several years back in the 90s and we had a day in Frankfurt between flights back to the US. We just needed a "Germany fix" and Paulaner was a really nice choice. Classic German beer and food. Very tourist friendly but able to rise to the challenge of someone who knows German beer and food. We had several traditional dishes that we were yearning for but couldn't possibly eat 5 kg of food. Our waitress put together some side dishes that included Spargle and Spätzle to go with our Jägerschnitzel and Frankfurterschnitzel. It was a great German food fix.

Very nice restaurant. Needs reservation and takes credit cards. Celebrated birthday party there and was very happy with the service and the food. Visit for dinner a second time and had the same experience. Worth to go and enjoy a meal.

For such a high ranking, I was expecting more. The food was good, but not great. The beer (Dunkel) was so-so. Not worth a special trip, especially while the street in front is torn up for major reconstruction.

Nice Bavarian restaurant behind the Cathedral. Rostbrautwurst and Paulaner schnitzel were excellent. Service can be a bit rushed when it's busy, but a nice spot to sit on the square in the sun and feel like you're in Munich.

A great location, classic food, and good beer. I was happy to be able to take home a souvenir glass. The food was tasty and plentiful.
