Definitely my favourite Italian in Frankfurt. Nothing fancy about the place, the young family owner apparently rather invests in good produce and good cooks than in fancy decoration. Food is fantastic, dishes are mainly inspired by the cuisine from Apulia with excellent meat and fish dishes and a variety of home made pasta. Portions are big and prices are very reasonable, especially given the excellent quality of the produce. My all time favourite is the fish soup which pretends to be a starter but will do as a main course unless you just did a 20 mile hike. There are always a couple of Specials for the day and you can take a look at fresh meat and fish options in a glas display before ordering.
