Authentic Indian food on street-level. They have seating outside which was nice. We had the Namaste special; full of well-balanced flavours.

We just came back from a wonderful dinner at Namaste. The food was absolutely wonderful, from the chicken mango curry to the paneer tikka masala. Desserts were yummy, although some were a touch sweeter than normal. The chai - and I am a major tea snob - was outstanding.

Service was warm and friendly, and the server was great dealing with my sporadic German and my companions English. If you want a quick meal, however, do this as carry out rather than table service; the pace was very relaxed and would probably be frustrating if you were in a rush. For us it was inviting and pleasant, just right for a laid-back dinner.

The ambiance was lovely. The decor and lighting were attractive, not too formal but nice. The temperature was a little warm, and the server immediately adjusted it to make us more comfortable.

For three adults and a child ordering like mad (we had far more food than we could finish) the cost was 116€, including an entree for each, multiple drinks per person, and a dessert each, as well as an appetizer or two for the table. With tip it came to 139€ - money extremely well spent. Best meal so far in Frankfurt and overall best value.

We had a delicious dinner in this small restaurant in Bockenheim area of Frankfurt. It is on an unassuming street near the University. We had two dishes, one lamb and one fish. The food was fresh and the sauces delightful. The side order of garlic nan was fine, not as special as the main courses nor as good as other Indian restaurants we have eaten in.

Other reviewers have noted great service and a warm and welcoming environment. This was not the case with us. The waiter took our order, left, brought back food, came with check...never even smiled. It was 8:30 pm on a Thursday night and only one other table was occupied so maybe they just wanted to go home.

We will go back for the food and hope the warm service described by others appears.
