For an American tourist, the highlight was the synchronized removal of the metal covers from our main courses. The fish dishes were excellent, especially the turbot, their specialty. The "labskaus" is a Hamburg classic for non-fish lovers. The ginger soup with shrimps was very tasty. Service was impeccable until it slowed down toward the end of the meal, and our coffee was forgotten entirely. 350 dollars for four diners is high end, 12 dollars for a bottle of water seems steep. But the location, the view, the service all count for something- you need one high-end dining experience during your vacation.
