I eat at Restaurant Molana on average about once a month and have only been disappointed one time (lunchtime kubideh (too greasy)). I celebrated my birthday here last year bringing seven friends and they were enraptured. I highly recommend the ghormeh sabzi (spinach, lamb, kidney bean stew) and the bastani (Persian ice cream with rosewater, frozen cream, and saffron). These paired with a pot of their black tea makes for a great meal. Lunch prices are very good and dinner prices are only slightly higher with even larger portions. Each entree comes with flat bread, cheese, radishes, onion, and mixed herbs as a starter. Salads accompany the main meal. Service is always attentive, bathrooms very clean, and seating options numerous. You may sit on raised platforms with pillows or even in an enclosed glass area for more privacy. The restaurant takes Visa credit cards, which is a plus for tourists.
