Stayed here three nights. The room was great and clean and the location of the hotel is PERFECT for enjoying town center. Missed a few more English speaking TV-channels but this alone is not crucial for our satisfaction.
When checking out they tried to charge a gin/tonic from the minibar wich we hadn't used. They removed it from the bill without arguing.
The breakfast is good - but 22 eur PER PERSON is way too much, knowing that a restaurant close by (Alex) serves breakfast for 8 eur per person - and then it is even with lake view. The price is characterized by this hotel beeing the hotel for business people, who apparantly will pay any price charged. We were so surprised by the price of this meal that we went from totally satisfaction to slight dissapointed with our stay.

Very modern hotel, huge rooms, very quiet, heavenly bedding, excellent breakfast and great location for tourists as well as business travellers.
All in all we really enjoyed our 4 day stay, and all that at a reasonable price!

We particularly enjoyed the possibility to get late check out at an hourly fee, how clever!

I was very disappointed with this hotel after reading the previous reviews that were fabulous. At the beginning of our trip I found the check in staff unhelpful and just simply "going through the motions". On check out the lady asked me if I had taken anything from the mini bar and when I sad no she said - ok you are free to go! Not even I hope you enjoyed your stay-pretty poor customer relations to be honest. There is no doubt that this is a beautiful, stylish hotel and the location is superb. It is near the station but also the key attractions of Hamburg so if you are only staying a few nights it is very convenient. However, the room was again a little disappointing. It was quite pokey, badly planned and would have been more suitable for one person. One positive- we had to leave out bags at the hotel due to a late flight. The gentleman that helped us with these was charming.

This modern hotel is located 200m from Hamburg's main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and 800m from the City Hall (Rathaus) and Hamburg Chamber of Commerce making it idea for the business traveller. The rooms are very comfortable with top quality mattresses and a wide choice of pillows to choose from. The bedroom is separated from the shower by a frosted glass wall. The breakfast will suit most nationalities. The rate I paid was very reasonable for this class of hotel.

I stayed for three nights in December 2012 for the Christmas Market. The hotel was very modern and the room was excellent all round. Huge queen bed with lots of pillows, and the shower was amazing .Beautiful white towels.
Perfect location for the Haupbahnof, shops ,restaurants.
The staff were very helpful, as i needed to find a couple of shops not in the centre and the receptionist told me how to get there and even downloaded a map for me.
I would definately stay here again , but hopefully next time with my husband. He could not get the time off work at the last minute, so i went on my own.
Tea and coffee facilities - most German Hotels don't have this.
You don't need a car as everything is so close, and the train ans bus service is one of the best. As always car - parks are very expensive in Germany. If you are there in the summer the bikes to hire are a great way to see Hamburg.
Amazing city.

It is a great hotel (one year old) in a good location. The hotel is located near the main train station. It has comfortable beds, a fantastic breakfast and offer reasonable rates. Definitively I would stay there again if I return to Hamburg. 5 Stars

We spend a night here without the kids - and both my wife and I regretted not having the time to stay for another (couple of) nights. Nice, modern and really timeless design, not too big, just right. Excellent wines in the bar - the only regret was the rather thin-ish, tapas-oriented bar menu. Will stay here again, not the least because the hotel is very centrally located.
