Just back from Hamburg and - I think- we were unlucky. We paid €135 per room( room 810) per night, breakfast was €28(!) each -per day. My daughter had booked a suite(room 501) for her family - with breakfast included for €179 inclusive of breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children. This does not add up.
On Sunday we ordered a coffee in the lounge/bar area - as my friend has just finished chemo and radiation- and has to take medicine with food- we asked for a bread roll. This was not possible. We asked for a piece of cake - this again was not possible and would not be served until 2 pm. It was 1 pm at this stage.
We were disappointed and amazed. To be fair reception at check in were very professional and friendly.
Overall very disappointed. Room tiny and heating/airconditioning needs attention - very dated and noisy.
Location of Hotel very good and bed very comfortable.
