“Great Studiam with good vibe of Football”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

It was deadly cold -10 degrees!
The Studiam food and museum was really great.
Good German food and drinks.
If you like Football, it is good place to visit.

“Imtech Arena”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 21, 2013

Went to see Hamburger SV v SV Werder Bremen her on 21st Sept 2013. Excellent atmosphere in a great stadium. Easy to get to with the S-Bahn a short walk away. Great day out. Shame Hamburg were rubbish!

“Music and sports - perfectly organized”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

Have been to a few concerts and quite a few football matches in Imtech-Arena and I and everyone I know who either came along or went on their own say the same thing:
"It just works down there!" ("down there" being from a Danish perspective, mind you)

This statement has to be perceived in comparison to the same type of events when held in Denmark, which - I hate to say it - tend to be disastrously organized in terms of logistics, parking, staff, toilets, foods and beverages.

Been there, done that - way to often to denying the fact this is just not a strength of Danish craftmanship.

Imtech-Arena knows how to cater to its customers and maybe you will have to wait a few minutes to get your beer - but you'll get it! In Denmark you'd have to wait for a minimum 10 minutes and sometimes not be able to retrieve your beverage of choice at all..!

At concerts, both sides of the inner stadium are serving areas. This works brilliantly, I must say.

Parking could be better, I guess, but, again, compared to what I have experienced elsewhere, it is just fine.

I am already looking forward to my next visit, which - I suppose - will be HSV vs. Eintracht 2013/14 season.

“Impressive Stadium”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

I went by myself to this football stadium during my stay in Hamburg. I talk to the hotel about how to go and they were very generous to first check if there was some sort of tour or access. I took the train and it just took me 15 minutes on the train and then a 20 minutes walk.

The access is very easy through the match ticket office. The there is a restaurant and the official store of HSV Hamburg. Just in front of that is the entrance to the museum where you can see a large collection of pictures, trophies and silverware. There is also a tour included around the premises of the stadium including the stands, the dressing rooms and conference center.

The only bad thing is that the tour is only in German but the organizer was kindly enough to translate some things for me and charge me a little less of the symbolic 7 to 10 euros that was the tour price. Very nice experience.
