Have come to this place for 10 years. It is still very good value, reasonably priced, abt 24 euro/pp, (less for kids) for all you can eat. Their buffet table is big fresh and extensive and includes many desserts.
The meat is as always very very good, just remember at a Brazilian restaurant they always try to give you the sausages, chicken, veal, pork, before the good stuff, ie lamb and beef.
My suggestion is to wait and refuse the early stuff and the appetizer-salad-buffet, wait keep your vacant space in your stomac for the real carnivore stuff. It will come, and if you are in a hurry specifically ask the waiter, and make sure you communicate you want service for a decent tip.
The service at the place is ...eh.... South American... you can get unlucky and experience a wait, but again then ask/yell for help, and you will normally get it. Problem is if you dont say anything the waiters think/assume you are happy..... However, the service do have a great possibility of improving with a little effort.
Do reserve a table for 8pm and the place is chock-a-block and hussling, the meats are warm and ready. A reservation is a MUST, they are busy, they have booths and tables with chairs. The atmosphere is casual, noisy, busy, the buffet is overwhelming, and you can go to dinner in your jeans and lumberjackshirt, it aint a blacktie place, the usual clientele is festclad people out on the town, and having a good time. Beware of the carparinjas they are potent but a must..
The restaurant is located abt a 8 min walk from/to the Steigenberger Hotel 3 min from Rickmers Rickmers at the Landungs Brucke, by the inner harbour. Enjoy the circus, I always look forward to going there.... !
