“Perfect for Group”

Ideally located on the reeperhan and by the metro. Clean good base location if you are going to be out an about the sites of hamburg.

very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, good facilities to get cheap drinks and snacks and also pass the time on the pool tables and using free internet whilst waiting for the group to get ready.

Clean an safe at a bargain price ideal for large groups.

I'd like to say I have fairly high standards when it comes to accommodation and I was pleasantly surprised by this place.
The exterior looks like a shabby hotel which would put most off however inside is a different story.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast included with an endless supply of orange juice and coffee. Rooms were small but the bed was comfy with towels and toiletries/ hair drier included. Bar downstairs had free wifi. Location right in the middle of the reeperbahn.

Would I take my wife here, no ( you wouldn't take her to hamburg anyway) would u stay here on a lads wkend or stag do- most definitely!

We stayed this hotel three nights, hotel was in the middle of Reperbahn and very near by the metro-station.
Room was very basic-two clean beds, table, coat rack, washbasin. Very warm room in march, decent heating.
We had a room in first floor and we shared bathroom and toilet with other travellers, bathroom was bit dirty and toilet also.
There was a little bar, free pooltable and free wifi-area.
Breakfast was good and eating area was wide.
Staff were nice and friendly.
Hotel is very popular, there was a lot of young people-some of them were noisy and wasted.
I would recommend if you want to stay in Reperbahn during your holiday and don*t want to pay too much for accommodation, this place is a cost-effective :)

Room Tip: Would recommend room from first floor.

Really basic hostel, PERFECTLY located for any stag do. Has a small bar, pool table and is clean and cheap. If youre looking for somewhere quiet I wouldnt stay here, however if its a room where you can crash for a few hours that you are after, then this is ideal. Big place however, so if theres a group of you maybe ask for any rooms to be together. Also, the plugs in the rooms are in all manner of positions, above the wardrobes or in the middle of the walls!! Would stay here if I went again for a stag do, maybe not with a partner though!!

Perfect for stag weekends! The rooms are clean basic and secure, reception and staff helpful. It’s cheap and cheerful but that’s all you need, towels and shower gel are provided. It can get a little noisy due to stag parties but never had any problem sleeping after being ‘out’ all night. The thing that makes this hotel is the location, you can’t get any closer to the night life!! I would definitely revisit this hotel.

Room Tip: I recommend people book with a private bathroom in there room rather than the shared, just for conve...

I stayed with a friend in a private double room and we got a deal through a booking website, so it was good value. The room was basic but clean, and there even was a TV. The bathroom was really ok for a low-budget hotel, and we were glad to find a hair-dryer being both females with long hair.
We chose it because it was the cheapest option available and the location was "funny": the Reeperbahn is great for its nightlife and if you're planning to have a big night out with cheap alcohol and lots of fun. However, this meant the hotel was really, really noisy. And I am not of the fussy type, but this was really something. It is also lacking a lift in most of its parts, so be prepare if you are carrying a big suitcase like I was.
Other than that, it was clean and really good value to stay in the centre of Hamburg.

This seemed at first a fairly-priced option at a very central location in Hamburg, but the value for money here is really a joke. The facilities do look clean and the personnel were friendly. However, we were charged extra for using Wi-Fi in the room, and entering the room there was no Wi-Fi reception at all (of course, we got this money back). I booked two single beds and they were set together as for a couple. Each bed is indeed very small and not really comfortable. The TV was located high, tilted and there was no remote available. There were only two outlets by the TV set, one above one of the beds and one at the foot of the second one, which makes it uncomfortable to charge the phones' batteries or using laptops. But worse of all, it's really loud in the place! You can hear everything happening in the hall and rooms around you, which makes it really hard to sleep, especially because there are doors across the hall which are very heavy and sound loud when slammed by people. Imagine this going on the whole night, with so many people going in and out of the hotel! With such a small, uncomfortable room, the extra charges, and then the inability to sleep due to all the noise, this "hotel" is a no go for me. I can't understand why they hold a "recommended by TripAdvisor" sticker on their main door. It was very disappointing. I had a room booked at another A & O Hotel for my next vacation and canceled it after this experience.
