Description: Good day, land of the rising sun! But with atypical furnishings and without the classic China chic. Many find the blue covered chairs behind glass fronts subtly elegant. Unity during Chinese dining: Everything is very fresh. The staff make a great effort with the language. An 'l' sometimes slips out instead of an 'r'. It's rather sweet! The team is very fast and attentive. This boasts an amazing wine selection for an Asian restaurant - guests can choose from 30 eastern and western wines. A positive overall impression.

“Very Special Chinese Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2012

We actually got to "Ni Hao" by accident. We wanted to try another Chinese restaurant, but the taxy driver convinced us that Ni Hao is the one to check out. We weren't disappointed. We ordered a Tasting menu for two, which included cold appetizers (mostly vegtables), fantastic, mouth watering Dim Sum, 4 main dishes (which were at the same time familiar but with exotic twists). A wonderful fried vegtables dish and an excellent Peking style duck (alas, sans pancakes) were special highlights. In the end, we got a clear chicken and vegtable soup, which was good but I have to confess felt wierd to eat that late at the meal. The service was a little slow, but mostly helpful. Beware some very spicy dishes, and a weak desert menu. Ultimately, an unusual, tasty, and reasonably priced experience.
