“Not Our Cup of Tea”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

We visited on a combination ticket with Marmourpalais and this was somewhat of a letdown. We would rather have seen more of the building. If you are interested in WWII and the period right after, this is a great spot for you. The historical information is very interesting for the period.

“Perhaps Sanssouci gets all the credit”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

We liked this place just as much as Sanssouci. The hop-on hop-off stopped here so we decided to visit. Later we realized that if we had just walked a few yards farther we could have visited Marmor Palais too.

“Historic WW 2 location”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

The 1945 Allied Potsdam conference was held in this palace. This shaped the future of Europe as it continued until the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Wall. Very well worth a visit. Good displays relevant to the Conference

“Walking in footsteps of history”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

It's fantastic to be able to visit the spot where such significant decisions were made and documents signed. You can just imagine the smoke from Churchill's cigars. My only quibble is the, what I think is silly, €3.00 fee to take photos inside.

“Important Historical site............”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

Where Churchill, Stalin and Truman had their meeting to decide what Europe would look like after WWII ended. We had an excellent guide who brought the details of the meeting and intrigue into perspective and made it come alive. If you love history be sure to visit this site.
