Nice location and a great peek into the histroy of the port and the people who travelled to the rest of the world from here: The food was ok but a bit expensive for the quality. It was a bit rowdy and noisy when I ate there as there were several groups having celebrations.

“An amazing trip into the past”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2012

Well-organized and set up. Every visitor gets an identity pass(sex appropriate) which can be held to stations for information about when, where etc. the Woman/child/ man emigrated. Lots of information in the files. A ship is made up to walk thu giving one an idea of how sea-travel was in the late 19th early 20th centuries. Definitely worth going out of your for.

“One of the best museums I've ever been to”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

Visitors are incorporated in the topic of the museum. We stayed 3 hours in the museum and weren't bored at all. You can also look for family members who may have emigrated to the USA. They provide a computer program where you can search names and see if the people you are looking for have been on a passenger list.

There are many places where you can sit in the museum in case you are tired and many toilets on the way.

“A bit disappointing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2012

Perhaps I was expecting more based on what I've read. Or perhaps because I have done extensive family history research, my expectations were unrealistic. This was largely a knock off of the "you are there" mini-experience of Titanic exhibits.
