just back from a weekend trip to bremen to see the samba carnival. the location is fantastic, tram stop from airport is directly opposite hotel. Can't fault a thing about the hotel, spacious room, lots of little extras, bathrobes, slippers, shower gel, shampoo etc. Have had a lot of bad experiences of breakfast in various hotels, but not this one. Plenty of tables for guests and a vast array of food on offer. Staff were very helpful and polite. Plus free wifi. top rating, if i return to bremen would be first place i booked.

The Swiss Hotel in Bremen is a great place to stay. The location is superb, beautiful view from the breakfast restaurant, quiet, next to several decent restaurants and right next to the old city centre of Bremen. The staff were perfect: polite, friendly, efficient and very helpful. They all managed to give the impression that they really were happy to serve us, and that is a nice experience. Breakfast was plentiful and all the food that we ate was of really good quality - even the fruit salads (we went in January). For tea and coffee they have a whole menu, so you can start your day with eg. a cup of green tea or a latte macchiato. The room we had was, like the rest of the hotel, nice (in a modern hotel design sort of way), clean and rather spacious. The bed linens deserve a special mentioning because they were so gorgeous both in terms of design and quality - honestly, for the first time in our lives we just wanted to take the hotel linens home with us (don't worry, we didn't ; )). If we ever go back to Bremen, we will definitely stay at the Swiss Hotel again.

I stayed in the Swissotel during a business trip and found the hotel very modern, bright, and clean. The large atrium has a nice open feel and gives a lot of light to the hotel. It was very easy to walk to the train station from the hotel.

Breakfast was very good and had a large selection of meats, cheese, and great dairy products (Thank you Switzerland!!).

I can highly recommend this hotel. Staff at the reception was very kind and helpful, the bed was very comfy and the room had a nice view. I really enjoyed the breakfast (one could see the Swiss quality in the dining room, you should sit by the windows to enjoy the view); big choice of food, tasty coffee, freshly pressed juices - I was happy that I had more time to savour the breakfast.

There must be of course some "but", and in this case, and I'm really surprised of it, I must mention that the bathroom look like from a cheap motel, especially in compare to the modern-designed room. It was also not really clean. In the morning the hotel sauna was closed (with no visible information why), I was surprised because I called the reception in the evening before to confirm the opening hours.

This is not really a 5* hotel, but I really enjoyed my stay there and can gladly recommend the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the park/windmill view.
