Excellent to finally see Turkish food given the chance to shine in such a restaurant!! (I have hardly seen such nice proper Turkish restaurants in NW Germany - and this one is a beauty!)
The restaurant itself is lovely, the Anatolian deco gives it a great touch. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is always lively and packed with people on the weekend!!
The food (especially the kebabs) are amazing, so tasty but very filling so come with an empty stomach! The portions are quite big so I suppose the prices are understandable, but I still find it a tiny bit pricey (otherwise I would have given it 5/5!) Apart from that no complaints, can't wait to go back there again!

The Tendüre does exist for a long time in Bremen and that alone gives an indication about the quality since it is in a place where hardly anyone walks by so to get there by chance is nearly impossible. But it is surely worth the walk.

You will receive a very warm welcome by the patron and be guided to a table which in most cases will have offer a nice view to the "wall" i.e. the old fortification moat around the inner town of Bremen with a nice park.

The menu contains a lot of appetizers which you can choose if you like to from a open buffet (they will put it on a plate for you) and offers a lot of meat and fish prepared in the traditional turkish way in a large oven (which you can see from all places). All is freshly prepared, the content of garlic is not too high (in case you are afraid of this) and the food arrives pretty fast after your order and always with a warm smile. I can only recommend to share different mezes (antipasti) in your party and the lamb dishes are surely great food.

But not only the food but the customer orientation of the staff excels. Always willing to help and to explain dishes to help out when something went wrong, freindly and really going that extra mile.

They do offer a wine list, but turkish wines still are not prime wines but try one yourself. I always received a free "Raki" at the end which was truly needed since turkish dessert are as delightful as they are filling.
