“Best Brunch in Berlin”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

My boyfriend and I visited this place on the recommendation of a friend and were so glad that we did. The place was heaving when we arrived at 2pm and there was a huge selection of hot/cold, savory/sweet dishes to try. The policy is all you can eat for 9,50 euros. It's wonderful value in a buzzing environment.
Be sure to make a reservation or go early.

“Overrated breakfast”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

We went here on recommendation from a few friends. They are just wrong.

The breakfast that they raved about... It looket fantastic. But it was really a styled up sugar explosion with untasty fruits and vanilla curd.

“Nothing extraordinary”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

We went to this café for the Sunday brunch. It is overcrowded and the food is not specially good. However the price is low and if you like to eat a lot you will enjoy the place.

“Berliner Brunch in Kreuzberg - Tasty & Affordable”
Reviewed September 10, 2011

Go to Morgeland for brunch on a Saturday or a Sunday or why not both? There are so many different things to taste, that you won't be able to taste all of it during one meal anyway. Furthermore you find dishes you normally won't find on a bruch buffet which is nice. The food is very tasty and affordable. Yes, it can be crowded, but come early when they open at 10 a.m. and it's fine. Remember to call the cafe beforehand to make reservations. Guten Appetit!

“Tasty food, but too crowded”
Reviewed February 13, 2011

We had the fomous brunch here on Sunday. If you plan to do likewise make a reservation a week in advance, it get really crowded. All tables were reserved when the opened at 10 a.m. By 11:30 new guests were waiting between the tables for some early leavers to take their table. The situation at the buffet was not different. The food was arranged in two aisles, where hardly two people could pass each other. Even if it was freezing outside, people were sitting outside!
Why would people go there voluntarily? Because the food is great. In Berlin, there are many brunch options which all offer more or less the same. Morgenland stands out, their food has an authentic Mediterranean appeal. There are, for example, a couple of spreads like hummus but also some others that I hadn´t tasted before.
Bread rolls are also better than average. Additionally there were some shrimps and fried eggs (not scrambled, as usually.
