Situated in the Spree this restaurant is a fabulous place for an authentic Berlin meal. The surroundings are quirky and quaint; food and beer superb. Can recommend the sausages and schnitzel, make sure you leave room for the cake. It was so good we dived straight in before a picture!

Really enjoyed dinner here; simple menu of genuine, traditional good German food & hospitality. It is cosy & homely, welcoming & decent value for money. Excellent location & setting by the river.

This restaurant offers good traditional German food in a old fashioned home setting. It reminded me of eating in someone’s living room several decades ago. The food was good and traditional and the service was quite efficient. The only set back was that they only accept cash, no credit or debit cards.

A delightful traditional German restaurant. The decor is very oldy worldy creating an atmosphere conducive to dining. Superb food at a very reasonable price. So impressed we ate here twice.

What a quaint slightly off the beaten track restaurant. The services was excellent and subtle. The portions were ample and presented perfectly. We had three courses Berlin style pork and chicken schnitzel finishing with a digestif. Very reasonably priced. Worth a visit.
