We were well looked after in this restaurant, with a nice table outside looking over the Gendarmenmarkt, but I think we would have appreciated it more in the winter, rather than on a very hot evening in summer.
The menu is not large and specialises in its dishes and the portions are enormous. I had herring to start and it was enough for a main course. Both my husband and I had schnitzel for our main courses and there were two large pieces of meat served with a warm potato salad. I couldn't fault the food at all, but I don't think we really did it justice or appreciated it as much as we could have as there was so much and it was so hot outside.
