We jumped on the S-Bahn with the intent of having a first hand look at the a East Side Gallery, the wonderful Industrial Age bridge at the south end of the Gallery, and a 'street meal' at Burgermeister.
The two viewing spots were great - but for sheer change of pace, great taste, and feeling like a Berliner - it is hard to beat Burgermeister.
Simply walk into the middle of the street, look up at the rail tracks, order the House Special burger, fries and a beer - find a crate to sit on, or a stool and table if lucky, wait for your order number to be called - and then enjoy!!
Tasty, reasonably priced, honest food with great people around.
