We visited Nola's in mid December when the Volkspark was covered in snow. With floor to ceiling windows, we were able to watch a few kids sledging in the park.

The food is Swiss, so cheeses, fondue, breads, cooked and cured meats, cured fish and more. They do a great brunch and you get a lot of food. We were able to order 3 dishes between 4 people and we still struggled to finish it. The quality of the food is great for the price with brunch dishes ranging between €5.50 - €12.50 at the time of our visit. It's best to reserve or you could be in for a long wait. Very family friendly during the day, it might be different at night.

Definitely worth a visit for a healthy brunch stop.

For a seriously chilled evening in Berlin, you really could do no better than to rock up to Nolas am Weinberg, nestled within a romantic few acres of parkland in the midst of Mitte for a cocktail or two before dining in the rear candlelit restaurant for what for us was a truly memorable repast.Delectable risottos, rostis and soups make this THE very best Swiss restaurant we've ever dined in having great atmosphere, simple understated helpful staff and reasonably priced well presented food. They do a Sunday brunch(the big thing to do in Berlin) which is in the dairy for our next visit.Bon Appertit!!

We were staying at the Berlin Apartments 10 Veteranenstrasse which are literally overlooking the small park in which the restaurant is situated. The restaurant is very popular so you are advised to book. The staff are extremely helpful. At weekends a lot of young couples go for romantic candlelit dinners. The menu is Swiss and the fondues they do (accompanied by shots of Reisling and Schnapps to add to the fondue if it gets sticky) was the best we have ever had - including in Switzerland. They also do extremely good salads as well as more traditional Berlin fare.
It was so good we went twice and people we recommended it to also confirmed our impression about the quality of the food and the service.

We had a sunny and warm (at least in the sun) Sunday afternoon and someone suggested Nola's. We just went for a some warm drinks and to catch some sun. The perfect place. They have an unusual drinks menu like fresh peppermint tea and rhubarb juice.
