We spend lots of time in the east of Berlin, and this is our favourite place to eat and drink. An interesting interior has an outside area with seats adjacent to the river Spree, great views of the iconic Friedrichstrasse railway station and bridge (yes, in the movie Bourne DID jump from there!), great beer and good wine. The pub/restaurant's decor is politically interesting and informative. The menu is Rhenish, varied and delicious. Stav is not a fine dining experience. It is a place to eat, drink and socialise with gusto.
