We ate here on our first night in Berlin, mostly based on location and TA reviews. It was fairly busy on a Tuesday night, but we had no trouble getting a table.
Petite Europe serves large portions of decidedly average Italian fare at low prices. It's not surprising that it's a hit with the locals, but we have no plans to eat there again.
We ordered the mozzarella salad and bruschetta as starters. The latter was the same boring dinner rolls that were served with the meal, sliced in half and topped with chopped tomatoes. The squid was over-salted and the ricotta & spinach cannelloni was very dry.
If you're looking for a good trattoria in the area, try I Due Emigranti on Belziger Str. Slightly more expensive, but much better food.
