We ate here our first night in Berlin, as it was within walking distance of our hotel. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the wait staff was very nice. I liked their weiner schnitzel much better than what I got two days later at a German restaurant.

We came here after reading the great reviews. Left slightly disapionted. The traditional schnitzel and a boiled beef was very tasteless. I'm not sure if we just ordered the wrong food as we wanted to try traditional food. They both came out looking like something you'd see served in a nursing home. Was a real shame as the starter of duck & pigeon was fantastic. The resturant lacked atmosphere too even though the staff are absolutely lovely

"Berlin cuisine" doesn't exist so the best restaurants are asian, continental or in this case, Austrian/Bavarian. We had the menu which is definitely most popular with a fantastic summer salad, pumpkin soup, weinerschnitzel, and strudel. It was all really good. This is about a 5 minute walk from zoo station so if you are staying in Mitte is is easy to get to... just take the metro or the 100-200 buses terminate there so you can take a nice ride through Tiergarten.

We ate on the sidewalk at this popular, upscale Austrian restaurant. The food was excellent, but we had to be careful not to spend on "champagne with your appetizer."

We came to this Michelin Star restaurant in a rush trying to eat a great dinner before UEFA Championship final. No reservation on Saturday night with a request for a fast track !! What a shame ! :) Luckily everybody smiled with understanding and we were given a table immediately. 15 min later we were having starters accompanied by wonderful zweigelt. Wiener schnitzel sounds typical but was very tasty. Recommended !!
