Recently had short break in berlin with my husband, he found this restaurant on tripadvisor so we gave it a try purely on the ratings. What a lovely little intimate place this is.from the moment we stepped through the door the owner and her staff were charming helpful and friendly. The menu is large with something to please everyone. The food was wonderful I had the lamb saddle cooked to perfection, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere would suit any occassion but what makes this place special is the staff I cannot praise them enough.if you are thinking of a trip to berlin give this place a try, a word of warning book a table we called in and the place was full so we had to book for the following evening. If we return to this great city I will certainly be paying this place another visit I wish we had the place nearby!!!!!

the local exudes love for food in every detail. Delicious also the owner is able to interact in all languages to help in the choice of menu.

Nothing to dislike. Surroundings, atmosphere, food and service are a delight. The Boss is down to earth and keeps her beady eye on everything. Fabulous place. Just go and enjoy, but make sure you book, because it does get busy.

The pork knuckle was excellent but the sauerkraut was amazing. The service was wonderful and we felt "at home".

If you want or like a try of Germany's former eastern provinces' food, this is the place. Not exactly light stuff (Silesia, Pomerania and Eastern Prussia were not really mediterranian places), but really well done and of high quality. As grandma would have done it...Atmosphere very tradtional.
