“A memorable dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

We went there without reservation on Sunday night and as expected the restaurant was fully book. The manager managed to find a table for us on the next night. Luckily we got a table as we're leaving on Tuesday morning. The main course portion are big and if you're small eater better go on share basis. Good food and price reasonable. I considered one of the best restaurant that I ever tried in Europe.

We went to Marjellchen based on the reviews here and weren't disappointed.
Great surroundings and great staff and really great german food.
We had no reservation and were lucky to get the last table and saw a number of people turned away afterwards.
really well worth it!!!

“One of our favorite places in the world”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2013

We have eaten at Marjellchen three times in two trips to Berlin. Wonderful old world Prussian fare--game, pork knuckle, duck, sauerbraten, etc. Very nice people run this place. Make you feel right at home in a charming old world atmosphere.

“Do not miss the chance to try Marjellchen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner - A lively woman whom I immediately fell in love with. I rarely feel moved to write a review about anything or any one, but this place opened my eyes to cuisine I had never thought of as being so complex and delicous. Thank you, Ramona Azzaro.
