One of the best Turkish restaurants in Kreuzberg. The quality of meat is satisfactory. You can also find Kunefe

“A must in Berlin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

Frankly speaking, I do not go to Turkish restaurants outside Turkey, but this is an exception. The food is just excellent, the prices moderate to low and the atmosphere very interesting. My favorite starter is the warm aubergine dish with nuts (their specialty), followed by an Iskender or Adana Kebab. Better than anywhere else! Trink a Raki with it and finish off with a tea and you will have had a great experience! By the way: This place is open 24hrs, so if you are hungry during the middle of the night, you know where to go.

“the legend of Turkish food in Berlin”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

After reading an interesting review of Hasir on our Routard guide, we decided to stop by for lunch and were absolutely not disappointed. Despite the busy atmosphere, staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Great food (high-quality meat, served with fresh sides and warm traditional bread), excellent value for money. Maybe worth reserving if you want to go for dinner.

“Fantastic Turkish”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

After watching Anthony Bourdain profile this restaurant on 'No Reservations', we decided it was an absolute must on our next trip to Berlin. It didn't dissapoint. We ordered sampler platters of both the warm and cold starters. The cheese-stuffed deep fried artichoke hearts were HEAVEN. we also ordered a kabab platter with garlic-chile seasoned lamb...the meat was juicy, tender, and wonderfully seasoned. After one visit, we have added this restaurant to our list of places we have to return to everytime we're in Berlin. The only negative was that the neighborhood is a bit rough and didn't exactly feel safe after dark...HOWEVER...according to Bourdain, this location is the best...so we'll just have to deal with a little discomfort :D

“Very good experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2012

The food was really delicious and quite cheap and the atmosphere friendly (although a little bit busy). The service was without any fault (maybe the reason was that the owner was chatting with a friend right at the next table...) For me it was one of the best experiences in Berlin. I'm so sorry we don't have such a restaurant in Prague.
