in 14 february 2013, we were there celebrating something with 10 other friends, all from different countries. we have been first very surprised and then shocked by the insistent rude behaviour of a waiteress throughout the evening. she was serving us. when i wanted to make some space for her on the table, i gave her the "reservation" sign which was lying on our table. (the table was reserved for us). she took it from my hands, only to put it back on the table, in an extremely rude way, making a loud bang that all of of us heard. we thought she must be having a bad day, and didnt say anything but, she continued her rude behaviours later on. it was almost being served by your mum who is punishing you cause u broke her favourite china at home. all the 10 people sitting there that night, we decided that we will NEVER go to this restaurant again. it is a pity cause the same management has a great coctail bar next door. but it is probably be a good idea to eat somewhere else first and then go there for coctails. unless u want to be yelled at like us :)

We've been to Gorgonzola club several times and it's consistently good. The pizzas are as good as a pizza can be, and the pasta dishes taste as though some thought has been put into them - we think the pasta may be home made, which is a good sign. They have specials, which seem to genuinely be daily specials rather than just an extension of the main menu. Service is good and very friendly, if a little slow (it's usually busy). There is usually a bit of a party atmosphere on Fridays and Saturdays, which is nice. It's well located for visiting bars before and afterwards. Generally very good. And good value.

This is an Italian restaurant in terms of the cuisine, but without any Italian restaurant cliches. Food is pretty good, but not above standard. Service is friendly and relaxed, even a bit too relaxed. We were dining during the busy hours, starting at 8 p.m. and had to wait for quite a long time for each order to come to the table. So, overall, a nice place if you happen to be around, but not really worth traveling from far.

I don't like to write bad reviews but I went here for a special occasion, and to be honest, we were very disappointed. The food was ok but the service was shocking. 3 out of 10 main meals had not arrived half an hour after most of the group had finished eating. The waiters were rude, the manager refused to speak to us, no apology was made and we were told to either " like it or pay and leave". What a lovely place.

This is simply a fantastic restaurant. The food is just spot on - classic pizza and pasta plus specials, but the best thing is the atmosphere - simple decoration, very friendly service and a mixed crowd. It's obviously very popular with the locals judging by the queue - not too long to put you off, long enough to let you know the food's good! Also there's a fairly decent wine list. We had a wonderful meal and a fab stay in Berlin. The restaurant also has a bar next door which is equally excellent - a real drinkers' bar!
