Took my wife & I sometime to find this place but was well worth it. We ate on a Wednesday night without a reservation but managed to get a table. The Wiener schnitzel was amazing! We then shared a medley of desserts which included 5 or 6 small items, very tasty indeed. All washed down with a couple of beers, would not hesitate to eat there again.

We sat outside in the garden area as it was a pleasant evening. The food was excellent and the service was attentive but in a discreet manner.Would like to have tried the desserts but we were full. The fresh asparagus was lovely.

Great place with lovely traditional local dishes. Try the artichok as a starter - looks amacing and taste even better. Nice atmosphere for a group of friends who enjoy sharing a meal and drinks.

The girlfriend and I came here for a few cocktails one evening - note we only went to the bar and not the restaurant.

The ambience of this place is particularly interesting - red walls, low (comfy) chairs, cigar smoke and vintage drinks cabinets. It was one portrait of Maggy Thatcher away from being a Conservative's wet dream, but we enjoyed it all the same.

Cocktails were very good, a large selection to choose from as well, and service was decent (it included a barman helping us with our very iffy German). The only thing I would say about this place is that if you absolutely couldn't stand cigar smoke then it's not for you. Overall we'd recommend it.
