Thats all and thats a lot.
Coffee first class is still seldom in most of Berlin and their sweets (what i tasted) are bursting from quality

This place is a little tricky to find - its in a courtyard set back from the street that you can walk past three times before you figure it is there (two of our group did just that). We had to wait a while because there were ten of us but we had the good fortune to grab just such a table off a group that left after we got there. The staff were very good about us jacking up the numbers of people in the group too (it started as six)

They were a little low on supplies by the time we got there which was a bit odd - it was only three in the afternoon - quite a few of the cakes were off the menu but what they had left was good. I liked the selection of coffees - you could get expressos from a range of different beans. All in all I'd say its worth seeking out.

As an American living in Germany, I am constantly craving traditional American desserts like peacan pie, pumkin spice pie, molasses cookies and so on. Barcomis has all of 'em freshly hand baked and a huge selection. Their bagles are also a delight. The location in a courtyard of the boheme Hackeshe höfe is a small oasis and is a great setting for a relaxed coffee break between shopping and sightseeing in the area. Best café in berlin!

We went here under the instruction from the guide book as having the 'best brownies this side of the hudson river'

Its a pain to find at first but it looks nice and isnt overally expensive.
Service wasnt the best, the woman simply asking us what do we want and not really giving us time to decide.

No english tea that we could see and she didnt seem to know what we were talking about, average brownies too....

Wouldnt visit here again, would prefer finding a new little cafe.

I have been there a few times and it is always busy - means they are doing something right!!! The food is excellent and you can barely pass by the delicious looking cakes. I also loved the Chai Latte. Staff is friendly and even if you have to wait a couple of minutes to be seated - it's worth it. As an advise - the shop is hidden and not easy to find!
