Expectations were high since we’d read about Borchardt in several Berlin travel guides before visiting the city. Welcoming was very thoughtful and polite, though we had heard otherwise. We did not order the Schnitzel the Borchardt is famous for but had the Lobster curry and a steak. Was good and also the service was much better than most people write here. No celebrities unfortunately. 80 Euros for two main courses, two desserts and a few glasses of wine, does not some too expensive to me.
