If you need good internet do NOT stay here!! Every single time your laptop goes out of active or your laptop leaves the room you have to find the codes log out of everything and then restart the login process. People who need to get stuff done will find this a nightmare. If you have an iphone the login is an extreme pain and again everytime you leave the room you need to kill all apps are start the login again. AVOID if you need internet!!!

Room Tip: you get what you pay for in germany, cheap is always for a reason.

We booked this Hotel for two nights. The fist night was overbooked and we have been sent to a Hotel which was 20 min away from the location we wanted to be. We had to check out of the new Hotel at 12h and had to check in again with the Motel One, for which they first didn't want to offer us an earlier check-in. We asked for an price reduction for all this inconvenience but this was not approved by the management. I like the concept of Motel One, but this was very client unfriendly and very bad managed.

Room Tip: Gefahr besteht dass das Hotel Overbooked ist und ihr kurzfristig in ein anderes Hotel verfrachtet we...

Rather small, yet functional and modern rooms with a nice bathroom for a really good rate at an extremely central location. The only minor flaws I noticed was a little too much hair (not mine!) at unexpected locations and a rather unpredictable temperature of the water in the shower - traveler beware, it might turn VERY hot from one second to the other.

Location is good, near TV Tower and Alexanderplatz station; you can walk to the city centre in about 30 minutes. Rooms at the front could be noisy as the U-bahn line runs right outside.
Room was OK - bed very comfortable but not much storage space and no kettle for making drinks which is a bit stingy. TV only has 3 rather boring channels in English.
Shower was OK but the sink plug wouldn't shut because of matted hair underneath (yuk) and also they don't provide soap - just one small bottle of gel per day. You can't wash your hands with gel!
Breakfast is cold buffet - OK for the €7.50 price.
Staff were generally helpful and pleasant.

Room Tip: Ask for one at the back as it will be quieter

Stayed at this hotel for three days at the beginning of October. Ideal for a city break. Small modern, and trendy but very comfortable rooms. A boutique style hotel. The cost of this hotel is very reasonable as we were charged 69 euros per night per room. The only small gripe I have was that the rooms where extremely warm and when you opened the windows the trains nearby could be quite noisy. We were offered the back of the hotel but didn't take this offer up. Should have. The breakfast is 7.50 euros and really sets you up for the day but you can opt to not have that. The main positive for us with this hotel is that all the main attractions of Berlin are within walking distance. Near a station and main square with lots of bars and restaurants. Didn't find Berlin to costly either and this is unusual for a capital city. Would certainly go back again and would only stay at that hotel. Oh and a 24 hour bar!!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

Excellent location. Good soundproofing, no noise from the train lines. Modern rooms, comfortable bed, good coffee, ok breakfast buffet.

The internet broke down for a couple of days. One elevator was out of order for a day, which meant that it was faster to go down 5 floors by the stairs than wait for the other elevator.

Very big plus about this hotel is its location. Most of Berlin's major attractions are within walking distance. For those who are not into walking there is plenty of public transport nearby. Getting to the hotel from Berlin Tegel airport is very easy with direct bus from the airport to Alexanderplatz which is just 2 minutes walk away. Plenty of restaurants and shopping around the hotel. The hotel and rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. I was surprised to find that there was no phone in the room. It was not a big issue for me. Recommended for short city breaks for budget travelers.
