Impressive installation. You can see it on walk from Brandenburg Gate to Topography of Terror. Worth experience for 10-15 minutes to appreciate history of Holocaust.

I am sorry, I did not get much from this. We went to Mauthausen and then Auschwitz a few days earlier and this just did nothing for me. It is a bunch of blocks with little words about it. The true horrors are at the camps with many memorials to the victims, this modern art just did not give the same or similar feeling about the horrors. It seems I am in the minority, but give this a quick walk through.

This massive installation of anonymous uneven graves and tombstones (even the ground is uneven) strikes coldness and desperation into my heart. Yet. People enjoy this place as benches, jumping stones, great place to take a selfie and lovers find the corners of this unimaginative maze to steal a minute of intimacy. Life and death.

I found the memorial very moving and thought provoking, and it is created in such a way that you can find yourself "lost" inside the memorial. Always busy, many tour parties and usually a queue for the underground exhibition, but worth the visit just to spend some time in the memorial.
Whilst there, just across the road and a very short walk away is the site of the Fuhrerbunker, another must see.

Read some people blaming the memorial site to be boring. I think it is a great peace of work for a really sad thing from Germanys past.
