Beautiful, simple memorial open to visitors interpretation. A nice place to lose yourself in the heavy history of Berlin, as the walk through the memorial can be somewhat disorienting and sombering, yet thoughtful and interactive. A must-see in Berlin.

Do not want to sound insensitive, this place is worth a visit but that's about it.You go and see take a few pictures and move on. Not much to really see to be honest. Full of young people or tourists sitting on top of the concrete blocks talking.
I'm glad I saw this place but I would not bother going back.

the holocaust memorial is one kind of installation which makes u feel what went in the history. it was designed by architect Peter Eisenman and engineer Buro Happold. located one block south of the Brandenburg Gate, in the Friedrichstadt neighborhood it is worth the visit and remember the history.

This memorial really will divide people into loving or loathing it . I person thought it was horrible , very depressing and really could not see the point of the blocks except for children and unfortunately some adults jumping from one to the other . I think it is supposed to represent despair in that case it worked but surely they could have come up with a far more fitting memorial in memory of the murdered Jews .
Btw my friend who I was with loved it

In its spare and silent spaces this memorial achieves its objective (in a way different from but reminiscent of the memorial in Vienna). It was a shame to see mindless youths ignoring the signs and climbing onto the monoliths. Do visit it.
