The Liquidrom has saunas, hot tubs, a heated salt water pool with underwater music, and a bar serving food and drinks. You can choose how long you want to stay 1, 2, or 4 hours or all day. We did the four hour package and it cost us 50 euro to get in.
They give you a little poker chip on entering, this is what you use to charge any purchases once you are inside. It fits inside the locker key which has a band that you can put on your wrist like a watch. This is a great idea because you don't want to carry money around in the pools and tubs - plus many of the people are completely naked besides the locker key.
When you go into the locker room there are two separate doors. My wife and I did not know which was for men and which for women. We ended up each choosing a door and ducking in. We came to find out that both doors lead to the same locker room. It is completely co-ed. Men and women in various states of undress - welcome to Berlin!
We ended up going back to the salt water pool. You walk in there and there is music playing, soft colored lights scan the room, but it is quite dim and intimate in there. And yes, it was quite amorous. There were several couples in various stages of rubbing each other, kissing, and possibly a bit more. But it was fun! The people watching was great - it gave us a little glimpse into a different part of Berlin.
There are all kinds of naked people walking around. Germans are not shy. Be open minded. A good percentage of the people were young and fit, but there were people of all ages and shapes. Be aware that you will see gay couples there as well.
You don't have to go naked if you don't want, only the saunas require nudity.
We also had some champagne and a couple beers at the bar. The service is not great, but it was no big deal.
Overall, it was quite relaxing and a unique experience. I would go again.
