I liked the fact that it is central and that I could do a lot without using a car/taxi….

But asked DID YOU LIKE IT?!

Where does one start? The apartments on the website look appealing and welcoming, trendy and modern…THEY ARE NOT but BARE.

The apartment I occupied was nothing else than an empty space, barely furnished…with no charm whatsoever - Would one entertain there - NO! Would I ever recommend it to other friends or business associates? NO!!

All pictures were hung in a bizarre way –sitting on top of the furniture – out of line… like I say- nobody cares… and nobody even noticed that every picture was hung double…
The owners must have spent a fortune in buying equipment & furnishing …and I cannot believe that they don’t care?!

Once one knows all the negative points one can live with them BUT one would never really recommend this apartment arrangement again- which is a great pity, as IT COULD BE GREAT but it all starts with the staff, which shows no enthusiasm, no love to detail or to their job & customers!
Being asked if they could recommend a delivery service or restaurants nearby, they simply reply in a sharp voice “WE ARE NOT A HOTEL”, …” How am I am supposed to know if your apartment has a view, we have over 200 apartments!” - The staff simply could not care less if the customer is pleased or not, they simply do a job – NEXT!!!!... and that is a great pity!!!!

Room Tip: There is nothing to recommend …..

These are apartments are very well located and spacious. Spartanly furnished and not particularly comfortable. They are spacious. Dated kitchen and sad bathroom. This was a one bedroom - friends had a studio which was fine for a couple and better value all round.

It's impossible to beat this amazing location when visiting Berlin. At the back door of the Adlon Hotel, a block away from the SBahn and 2 blocks away from the UBahn, you are around the corner from the Holocaust Memorial, the Brandenburger Tor, the US Embassy, the UK Embassy and the Russian Embassy. Everything else is a short walk away as well, the restaurants in the immediate area are terrible, so be prepared to either spend a fortune at the Adlon, or take a Sbahn ride to another part of Mitte.
Although the studio apartment I spent a month in is about as drab and basic as you can get, it does have all the necessary appliances and implements to make a meal, well, all that is except for a microwave, which would really be a helpful addition. The curtains are abysmal - they don't cover all the windows and let in streams of light. There is no carpeting on the floor or a rug near the bed and the IKEA furniture is falling apart (on arrival I had to hammer my bed together with the heel of my shoe)!
The internet service is very iffy and sporadic, so if you think you will truly need a connection, think again...
If you are there for a longer period of time, be sure to ask for a unit with a washing machine AND a dishwasher.
It's fairly priced and brilliant if you are attending the Berlinale (Berlin Film Festival), as the apartments are about a four minute walk from Potsdamer Platz.

Room Tip: The apartments on Wilhelmstrasse are much noisier than the ones on Hannah Arendt strasse.

Very close to the underground station, Brandenburger Gate and several more attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean, spacious and good value for money. We would certainly recommend for couple and also families. There are a couple of bars local and several restaurants along with a small supermarket just across the road. We paid approx £250 for a couple for 3 nights. We always choose apartments rather than hotels and this one we would certainly return to.

Room Tip: The apartments are spread over the building and as there is no 'spectacular' view from any o...

We have just spent 4 nights here, especially chosen as there were 4 of us and was cheaper than 2 rooms in a hotel and gave us the flexibility to do as we pleased . Very good location and central to the main sites and handy for both u and s bahns. On our 2nd day there we discovered that hitlers bunker was literally outside our back door- a fact that isnt well advertised. Accommodation itself was immaculate and kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was a bit dated but shower was lovely and had plenty of power, unlike some other reviews. We were in no 89, 07 02- 3 bedrooms on the top floor of the block and it was wonderful. Internet was included, so this must be something that has been revised recently as we werent expecting it.cannot fault these apartments.

We stayed here for 4 nights - what a brilliant location, and so very spacious. And EXTREMELY clean. Spotless really. And very comfortable and warm beds. Only complaint is the bathroom. It was very old...very very old. We had to stand in one small spot in the bath to have the shower pour down on our heads - however...the water was very hot, and powerful. So we enjoyed the shower but had to stand in just one small spot! The pictures don't show the bathroom- now I know why. But the size and location are brilliant and if the bathroom was renovated I would stay here again any day. The apartment we chose sleeps 6 and there were four of us. Wouldn't like 6 people sharing that one small bathroom. The apartment was to have a washing machine, which it didn't but they moved us to another one with no fuss. But it was SO tiny it was not worth using...and there was no dryer and it was -4 degrees outside, I was concerned the washing would never dry. But there was a small clothes line to hang stuff on and the heating worked really well so perhaps it would have dried. A great apartment - really great value if only we could look forward to using the bathroom too!!

When I decided to visit Berlin, I HAD TO stay near the historical Bradembug Gate and this seems the perfect choice, specially because we didn't want to stay at a hotel.
Reservation was made on Booking.com and payment was made in cash upon checkin.
The lack of free Wi-Fi was a minus, but all the rest made the place worth it. Very, very roomy apartment with a BIG dining/living room, well equipped kitchen with a veranda overlooking the city and 2 bedroons (1 with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed).
There's a big supermarket two block away (tip from the repection desk upon checkin, they even gave us a little map for the surrounds.)
The building close to many embassies, right across from US and UK embassies, making the area extremely safe. The building has many blocks, and depending on the apartment location you can view the Holocaust Memorial, comprised of 2,711 concrete slabs in different heights. Curious!!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a view to the Holocaust Memorial. It may look gloomy, but the look of those 2...
