“Ideal brunch in a serene atmosphere”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

My friend and I were staying at the Circus Hotel around the corner and found this gem of a restaurant. Food was amazing! We had the croque monsier/salad/soup lunch combo as well as the omelet which I was able to customize to my preferences. We absolutely loved the cozy french environment which was immediately apparent when greeted with a bonjour! from our waiter (and owner of the restaurant). Great food, a great environment and great prices... not much more you can get out of a restaurant in the heart of the city!

“How Lovely!”
Reviewed February 19, 2014 via mobile

Walked past last night on the way to the U and thought we'd come back tonight. We did and it was as it had seemed: delightful ambiance, the most naturally friendly and unaffected welcome and food which suited both me and my 15 year old daughter. All at a reasonable price. The only irritation was that, like many other places in Germany, they don't take cards, just cash, so be prepared!

“Lovely surprise”
Reviewed February 16, 2014 via mobile

All tired after a long day of sight seeing in Berlin, we arrived at this small restaurant close to our hotel. We were gladly surprised by the friendly staff, cosy atmosfere and nicely presented and delicious. A recommendation if you like French grandmother-style dishes or for a healthy reasonably priced lunch (with soup and salad) in a small, no-nonsense environment.

“Wonderful local bistro”
Reviewed February 2, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is small, cosy and welcoming and an intimate atmosphere. It looks like something you would find in a local French neighborhood. The tables are close together, the chairs comfy and the tables all sport red checked tablecloths. The food was simple, beautifully prepared and tasted delightful. Fabulous 'house' wines are available as well. Definitely worth the visit.

“Fun local bistro”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Small place run by a young couple (and their baby) who work incredibly hard to produce some wonderful food. It's not as cheap as you think it's going tone when you walk in, but it's worth it and it's still good value.
