Good to visit, if you are eager to face German history. It has nothing especial, but has somethings worthy to visit.
Make sure you are planning to visit it when it is free!

This is a free place to get warm while walking about. Not really much to see here. A bit if old furniture.

I guess its of interest cause it survived the devastation of WW2 but if it was anywhere else in Germany then it would be a standard building with some old furniture.

This is one of only a few buildings in the amazing Nikolvietel area that is original and escaped the destruction of WW2 bombing.
A beautiful looking building in one of Berlin's most visited districts, the Knoblauchhaus is a museum that is both informative and also well worth touring around, many fine pieces and artifacts abound in this museum and it's a great way to spend a very pleasant hour or so.
Entrance is free but a donation of some sort is expected but it really is worth the price for the upkeep of the museum and the building itself.
Very easy to locate by jumping the Ubahn,U2 to stop Kloster Straße were you will find this museum on Post Straße in the wonderful Nikolaiviertal District and area packed with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
A superb Museum and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.

This lovely house, that doesn't have anything to do with garlic, is truly a hidden gem in Berlin. The view you get of the house of a respected and rich business family is truly stunning.

The place breaths out the warmth and riches of times of old yet is still a family house.

Do visit it you won't be disappointed.
Oh and btw it is free entry.

The only original building in the Nikolai district. All the others around are replicas, built after WW II. There is a very good museum inside.
